For me, photography is both an outlet for personal creativity and my way
of expressing my awe, reverence, and love for the unique beauty of New England.
Whether it's the romantic grandeur of a historic lighthouse; a parade of noble
schooners leaving a picturesque harbor to travel the rugged, rocky Maine coast;
a pristine village green bounded by stately homes and the white steepled
elegance of a centuries old church; or the dazzling brilliance of fall colors
along a timeless Vermont landscape, no other region can rival New England for a
natural beauty etched with historic significance.
I'm gratified that my photographs have won regional and national prizes and
have been published in several books, magazines, newspapers and calendars.
Mural-sized reproductions of four of my images of Kennebunkport, Maine, were
on display at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College
Station, Texas in 1999. They were part of an exhibit entitled "An Anchor to
Windward: The Maine Connection" which paid tribute to the former President's
lifelong special relationship with Kennebunkport.

in the "Shaped by the Sea" exhibit at Kennebunk's Brick Store Museum.
I hope my photography will be helpful in stimulating others to appreciate the
special charms and enchantment of New England.
